Active for over 100 years in the sugar industry, SECO delivers the first steam dryer to Japan.

SECO acquires the "RuXXac" hand truck production and brand from our close partner BRAUCKE.

SECO expands sourcing network over the past few years, including Vietnam, Malaysia and the USA for Material Handling Equipment.

SECO establishes SECO International Co., LTD. in Shanghai, China and a representative office in Taiwan.

The Material Handling Equipment division is rebranded as Industrial & Business Equipment (IBE) to better reflect the widening product portfolio.

SECO's customer base expands to more than 40, including the major distributors in the European IBE market.

At the same time its reach on the purchasing side increases to 50+ factories in eight countries.

Another representative office is opened to further explore sourcing opportunities in Vietnam.

Moved into our new modern headquarters in Hamburg’s Altstadt.

Attended the Paperworld in Frankfurt as the new European Distribution Partner for an important startegic customer from the USA. One of the last business trips before the global pandemic started.

Successfully navigated the COVID crisis, including the supply chain disruptions as well as remote working and the introduction of a paperless workflow process.

Appointed a new management team (Prokurists) – Gösta Kues, Christian Herbert, Christian Wittkowski, along side Arne Münchow.

Celebrated our 150th anniversary by bringing together our entire team from around the world, culminating in a party overlooking the Elbe river and Hamburg Harbor.

The RuXXac brand celebrates its tenth anniversary after the takeover by Seco – market launch of the RuXXac Dandy platform truck in collaboration with a long-standing Japanese partner .
